Business Development Representative
Our client is a leader in their industry specializing in construction management software (SaaS). They have $10M in funding and are rapidly growing in the U.S. market. They are seeking a talented BDR to join their Chicago team. The BDR will field inbound marketing leads and participate in outbound outreach to major construction companies across the U.S.
* Rapid promotion potential to Account Executive within 9 - 12 months.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50,000 - $55,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions
- 1st Year OTE = $70,000 - $75,000

- Do outreach to potential clients via email, phone and social media
- Convert inbound leads into meetings for AE team
- Set up 12 meetings per month for AE team
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly activity and performance based quotas
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in Lead Generation or Sales/Business Development
- An interest in building or accelerating your sales career. We promote from within!
- Coachable. Listens to and implements advice from manager and wants to grow their sales career
- Proven initiative and a competitive drive
- Excellent communication skills
- Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
- Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects
- Listens patiently. Will probe and clarify to get a real sense of customer needs
- Experience working with SalesForce.com/HubSpot or other CRM desired
