Account Executive - Shipping & Logistics

Our client is a leader in the shipping and logistics industry and have been in business for almost 100 years. They are seeking a motivated Account Executive to join their team. 

Compensation & Benefits
  • $45,000 - $60,000 Salary (DOE) + Uncapped Commissions
  • 1st Year OTE = $75,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, pursue, maintain and convert a constant pipeline of potential customers that meet or exceed established goals via prospecting, networking and referral activities within a regional market.
  • Establish relationships with strategic customers with decision making authority and / or influence and convert them to new customers.
  • Extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new geographic locations, new industries, or with additional products and services.
  • Manage and oversee accounts obtained through sales acquisitions in assigned markets.
  • Analyze and construct personal sales goals, as well as identifying potential issues or patterns and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ Years Inside or Outside B2B sales experience
  • Industry experience in shipping / logistics preferred
  • Hunting new accounts, lead generation, prospecting skills
