Classification: Administrative Assistant
Compensation: $42,000 (negotiable based on experience)
The Full-time Administrative Assistant, under the direction of the Office Manager, will assist in the everyday administrative operations for the office, with a keen focus on Accounts Receivable.
This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
Accounts Receivable: Responsible for assisting in all A/R related functions, including data entry, balancing month end reports, collections, etc. Maintain and update customer and vendor files.
Customer Service: Responsible for general correspondence, answering incoming phone calls, and ensuring customer requests are completed during work hours.
Sales Support: Work with sales reps to meet the needs of customers, including administrative tasks, maintaining information for customer files, maintaining marketing material, corresponding with customers on billing related issues.
Marketing: Develop and maintain custom signage and labeling for ChemStation products at customer sites. Work with Marketing Department as needed on presentations and similar projects.
Office Duties: Organize meetings and secure office events. Communicate with building management for maintenance related issues, etc. Responsible for managing inventory of office supplies and miscellaneous customer equipment.
What We Are Looking For:
To Succeed as an Administrative Assistant in this company, you must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong computer skills in Microsoft. Additionally, excellent organizational skills are required as well as the ability to work independently.
